BIRDEE MIXTAPE // TWENTY

Hey gang!

So this week, I’m moving house: Cringe.

Due to that, this week I’ve been listening to stuff that will take the edge off a bit – something that I can chill out to or just have as background music.

My faves from this Mixtape are English bands Glass Animals (who are touring Australia soon), Peace, and Australian band Stillwater Giants.

Demi Louise

Demi Louise

Another artist that kinda blew me away this week is Demi Louise. Hailing from Ballarat in rural Victoria, she has been in the UK playing a bunch of festivals and has opened for the number one act in the UK, Gabrielle Aplin – pretty impressive for an unsigned 20 year-old musician. Her style of music is acoustic guitars with strong yet floaty vocals. It has a really warm feel to it, like she’s singing to you personally. If you like Missy Higgins with a dash of Lisa Mitchell, and a really sweet twist, you’ll like Demi Louise.

Fast Friends – Paul Dempsey.
No Place Like Home – The Aston Shuffle feat. Kaelyn Behr.
Run – Winter York.
Aviary – Porcelain Pill.
Pools – Glass Animals.
Money – Peace.
Atlas – Tanya Batt feat. Hayden Calnin.
Fly Under The Radar – Stillwater Giants.
What You Came Here For – Tigertown.
Stay – Demi Louise.

Well, I better get back to moving house…

Enjoy! x
